New guy needing help

Postby Prinetucky82 » Mon Apr 24, 2017 2:49 am

Hello all, been driving a 2004 Aerio SX AWD for about 6 years now, and have accumulated 264K miles so far without many problems, except for a couple. Firstly, I'm having a hard time finding motor mounts for this car. They are way past due for replacement, and they seem to be tough to find. Secondly, the driver side kicker/sill trim has fallen off of the underside of the car because the push in clips have all become brittle and have broken. I also can't find these anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find this stuff? I plan on driving this car forever, as long as I can find parts for it.

Here you go: http://www.autozone.com/collision-body- ... leSet=true
No idea about the clips though. Might wanna try www.suzukicarparts.com and see if they still sell them. There's quite a few bits on the Aerio that's been discontinued, but that doesn't mean third party companies still don't make them.
Best of luck to you, and here's to the longevity of your Aerio!

I just redid my motor mounts from RockAuto.com however it appears they do not sell the transmission mount.

suzukicarparts.com will help you find the right clips. I've ordered some parts from there. The clips, if I remember correctly were ridiculously priced... It took a lot of searching but eventually I found some OEM clips for cheap on ebay.

The oem clips are ridiculous expensive. It got so bad at one point when I found an aerio in the junk yard I would strip the car of them

Are you talking about the bigger clips on the bottom of the car on the kicker panel? I'll check my orders on ebay and see if I can find the seller. I know they seemed to close the ebay shop but still sold them for cheap on their website.

These are normally ridiculously priced and used on some of the body trim.

Fits SUZUKI Nylon Moulding Clips With Sealer 10-Clips 77259-71B00:

Wow those rocker clips are getting hard to find. I believe the part number is: 09409-15302
But apparently these have a correlation as well:
PartNO: SUZ-005B
OEM Number: 71741894

I compared the ones off my suzuki to the GM ones and they are an exact match.

Here's what they look like and they are found as "GM Push Type Retainer Clips 5480772":

Image

The name on the box I bought is "Au-ve-co Products" and part number is 20863 (5480772) and 10 come in a box, box lists from Japan. It appears the 5480772 is the number that relates to chevys and more commonly how to find them. These are the same exact ones that I used on my Suzuki Aerio's rocker panels so I can confirm they fit snug and tight. I replaced all of them on my suzuki..

The info on the box is:
Head diameter:13mm
Fits in 15mm hole
Listed as Chevrolet 2005-on

I did find one seller for you on ebay. $4 + free shipping. New, but opened. Listing is for 10. Check the listing.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-5480772 ... w9&vxp=mtr

Otherwise it looks like you can get a ton from china on ebay by searching "GM 5480772" for $3+ shipping but that's 3-4 weeks delivery.

And lastly... this website seems most reputable from most the ones I seen:

Yep, those are the ones I need. The motor mounts came in and I got the old ones out, and the new ones don't fit. So those are going to get sent back.

Did you buy them from autozone or somewhere else? If it was autozone, sorry for the bad recommend, friend! It was the first thing that popped up lol
