16" Wheels

Postby thaartist » Sat Apr 22, 2017 7:54 pm

I bought some 16x7" rims with 40mm offset and am thinking that I can go 205/45 since a few people said they run 17" on 205/40 with no rubbing.

Can anyone confirm a working tire size without rubbing for 16x7 40mm offset wheels? Or will 16x7 40mm offset need a spacer?

You should have any problem with that size and offset

I'm getting them mounted this weekend. I've never posted pics of my little suzi so I'll post pics along with my experience with the spectre intake so far.

Not sure what else can be done for the auto trans sedan to speed it up? The intake adds a little punch and nicer sound (unless its just me)... I've also noticed a little bit of a hesitation on acceleration at times...

My auto trans seems to shift a little late sometimes so I'm thinking I need to get it redone soon. I wish there was a good aftermarket shift kit available for better shifting. Still need the timing chain done soon as well. I'm only at 105k miles so tons more to go! hehe

Heres with the new rims. Crappy day outside.

Looks like I might need new back struts or so... the car is on a incline so idk.
